Thought it might be a good idea for some of us that tailgate regularly to post where we are so that outta towners can stop on by if they'd like (and if we'd like, lol)! Perhaps a mod can sticky this, please and thank you.

I tailgate in the Green/E lot along the sidewalk that leads from the stadium to the end of the parking lot. (I am closer to the end of the parking lot than the stadium.) The sidewalk separates the E and E preferred lots. I have a black Hyundai Sante Fe and a Cardinals tent/shade/whatever you want to call it. I will have a "Welcome ASFN!" sign on my front windshield. We start early and will definitely be there four hours before game time.

Jello shots, beer, chicken, sides, bean bag toss, football and other food and fun will be had. All are welcome. PM me if you want more info or a number to call that day if you can't find the joint.

Next?

MESA! :thud:
donald, abomb, dcr & I will be in Lot F (the grass lot east of Lot E). HarleyRider & his wife & son will be joining us too. Not sure what vehicle abomb is driving, but we will be in a silver-ish Durango & have a cardinals gazebo-thing, too.

Per our theme, we will be having Philly Cheesesteaks; I'm trying my hand at scrapple and will have soft pretzels. Come on by!

Good idea with the food theme. Scrapple is easy. Just fry it up and (possibly) enjoy, lol!

Lot F SE corner. Next to the RV lot, RedHeat Wrecking Crew and The Birdcage Brigade. Gonna be big this week.

DieHard is the wingman, looks like 60 pounds worth. Koot Dog is the Asada Man, I know he's worth about 10 pounds. And Red, well he's the bartender, mostly beer but the kegs will flow. We will have the Tucson, Phoenix, Surprise, Wittman, Circle City and Wickenburg crews in attendance! Swing by if you would like...but you best be wearing RED!!!

Ouchie's suggestion to put an ASFN sign on our tailgate location is great...I think every one of should do it.

You're not that far from us (usually). If you hear an 18 minute version of Truckin' about 5 times in a row, that's us.

Aww Schucks,

How early are you getting there? I am sure that the party will start early enough that they will have to let us in an hour early. Traffic will back up to 91st by 8am.

Well then I will make sure I am there early.

Last game they insisted that they wouldn't open gates until 10:30. I got there at 10:15 and a ton of people were already tailgating.

I plan on leaving Scottsdale by 8 a.m. at the very latest.

You don't want to know, but I'll tell ya anyway. :D

Think farm in PA or South Jersey. Think of how they prepare cows and pigs for steaks and stuff. Then think how someone thought it would be a good idea to not waste the leftovers.

There ya go!

From wikipedia:

Scrapple is a savory mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal and flour, often buckwheat flour. The mush is formed into a loaf, and slices of the scrapple are then fried before serving. Scraps of meat left over from butchering, not used or sold elsewhere, were made into scrapple to avoid waste. Scrapple is best known as a regional food of Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.

My grandpop was a dairy farmer and my aunt raised pigs on her farm so I am very well aware of scrapple.
