Dude, the lawn is huge and big enough so that if you don't want to partake in the arranged stuff, you don't...
I actually enjoy rubbing elbows with Mike Bidwill, the Cheerleaders and the Drum Line fellas... All of them routinely stroll thru the lawn, make small talk, get pictures taken and sign autographs... I love it!
