I'm sure alot of you will be tailgaiting for the opener against the Niners and I'm wondering if there will be assigned areas where tailgating will only be allowed or are they going to let it happen anywhere in the lot? Also, will it be general parking or reserved parking in many spots? How many of you will be trying to get a primo spot the night before the game or in the early morning of game day? Curious if the lot will be open before or only on game days? I can't wait!!!:fans:

Tailgating will be allowed everywhere, I'm sure. But I won't tailgate until the weather cools. It's weird how we've had no communication from the Cards on the parking issue yet.

The season ticket invoice stated that the club was continuing to work with the City of Glendale and would have info for us in June.

I agree with Skkorp. I'll be "bargating" for the first few months until the weather cools in November.

What do they have a ban on open containers of alcohol in public places? Open fires (grills)? It would probably be unconstitutional to just ban tailgating. A violation of the right to assembly IMO.

"We're not tailgating officer we're having a meeting to petition the federal government to pass legislation making brats the national sausage".

Illustrative of this expansion is Hague v. CIO,221 in which the Court, though splintered with regard to reasoning and rationale, struck down an ordinance which vested an uncontrolled discretion in a city official to permit or deny any group the opportunity to conduct a public assembly in a public place

I'm tailgating from day 1

I too have waited patiently for the Cards to announce how they're going to handle the parking/tailgating issue. As soon as they make spots available our crew plans on jumping on as much space as possible.

We'll be tailgating no matter what the weather conditions, shine or shine:)

ASFNers might want to coordinate on this matter and get as many spaces next to each other as possible.

to paraphrase some guy from 230 years ago: "Give me tailgating or give me death!"
I do belive that the right to tailgate NFL games is part of the agreement with towns and stadiums.
College games - eh...
Non football? ok - do any fans OTHER than football fans even tailgate?
I tailgate rock shows...

I would assume, if there is such an ordinance in Glendale, the city counsel would proceed to make the necessary modifications to permit tailgating, together with the accessory libations and food preparaing. I mean, football is not football without tailgating!

While the big game is certainly the grand finale to your Glendale sports experience, everything leading up to the big event is just as important. Check in with the Pre Game section of this site before heading out to make sure you’re ready before kick-off. Stay tuned as we plan to add updates on everything from shuttle information and parking instructions to entertainment district maps and tailgating zones. We’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re in your seat by the time the coin is flipped.

I like tailgating better when it's hot outside. Maybe it's my imagination, but BBQ tastes better at 105 degrees outside. Plus I love sunburns.

If my sweat glands like dried up and died I probably would wait until October.................and, for a change, hopefully there is still a reason to tailgate at the end of the season. In the past, 2-11 just made the burgers and beer too bitter.

I'll bring my ministers license and papers. The Congregation of the Church of Dermination will be meeting in Glendale every Sun. Morning, when necessary.

It's open fire that is banned in Glendale. So that would cut out any bbq

Doesn't that just mean open fire "pits" and not charcoal or gas grills?

Burg 72 - i believe you are correct.
I have participated in bbq's in Glendale and it wasn't like anyone was worried about a ticket - They have grills at some of their town parks!

I have no idea what that means or how it relates to any of the posts before it, but more power to ya big guy :D

As for tailgating, the wife & I will start tailgating around October or so. She's got two skin tones, white & burned, so no tailgating until it cools down! But we will be tailgating... bbq burgers, brats, italian sausage, peppers, onions... yeah

We won't be tailgating. It will be a Sunday Church Service and therefore not unlawful. :;)

Good thinking Dvl.

I'm going to be there (with bells on) opening day hours before the kickoff mooching beers, weasling my way into games of catch and I may even seek out a cornhole to throw my balls into.

If that's illegal, well, lock me up.

I think the Cardinals should host a PRE-SEASON tailgate so we can all be properly experienced before the season begins...August 5th to practice and explore the options for finding your seat (a preview of the stadium should be offered to all STH's)

That's the first weekend of Training Camp. A lot of the ST Holders are up there with them, in Flagstaff, that weekend.
