Mingo sure as heck blew up the first play from scrimmage, but Clemson marched right down the field to tie.

QB keeper not really working for him all that much. It seems like it's going up the middle all the time and it's just not there

Me's liking Mingo.

Also #6 from Clemson (the wideout)

Jeff, I like Mingo a lot too, but wouldn't he be the same player Acho is, or could he really provide the outside pass rush we need? Not really sure how he is in coverage.

Mingo's biggest asset is his speed. The guy runs like a 4.5 40, so he should be able to cover RB's and TE's. The only thing is Mingo hasn't got the experience dropping back into coverage but he certainly has the speed.

What a game. That 4th down conversion was sick.

Boyd opened my eyes tonight

I have watched a fair amount of ACC football. I was a skeptic coming in, but this was a very solid game by him.

I'd take Boyd over Geno Smith and Nassib for sure. His game is so much like RGIIIs, it's almost like they are clones.

As a South Carolina fan I wouldn't want him. Both on principle and because I've seen what happens to him when a team really rattles his cage. :)

i posted earlier thsi year that if he was 6'3, he'd probably be a top 5 pick. Russle Wilson having success will help him but the NFL still adheres to size/speed dimensions when drafting, especially in round 1.

Hopkins.

Clemson is fun to watch. I've watched many of their games the last 2 years. #2, Watkins was so good last year as a Freshman. Couldn't stay on the field this year, though.

Boyd reminds me of Donovan McNabb. So if Andy Reid comes here...?

Not sure how his cage could have been rattled more than it was tonight. I'm sure he will be back at Clemson for his senior year and he could end up being a first rounder if he keeps maturing.

Clowney sacked him 4.5 or 5 times by himself when he played the Gamecocks. Last year both Clowney and Ingram abused him.

I think a lot of him through the season, then he plays the Gamecocks and looks very human. Maybe that speaks more to the Gamecocks defense, but he can be streaky.

We are only one Acho, injury away from being kind of thin at OLB.

I admit to being a BPA advocate who believes in snapping up good football players when you can get them (regardless of who's already on your roster).

Definitely take a flyer in the 4-5th round.

Are you serious or playing around? If he declares, he is the best QB available. No less than mid-late first round. His performance against LSU last night was borderline legendary. He and Mingo showed they are both very talented, high draft picks.

I would have no problem picking Boyd with the 7th pick if he were to declare. He has the arm, the accuracy, the deep pass, plays well under pressure, and is mobile. Not to mention he is very tough, he was knocked around the entire game. LSU would have broken Kolb two or three times!

Watching the game, I could not help but wonder if Mingo came back in the fourth quarter, would they have been able to stop Clemson? Best performance of the bowl season so far IMO.
