Also missed on the name change though I should know better.

Marshall Smith was the Cards first coach not Paddy Driscoll btw.

I know a lot of the old stuff because I get media guides every year and used to own a book published in 1972 written by St.Louis Post Dispatch writer Bob Broeg on the History of the Cardinals. Actually had a brief synopsis of every game from 1960-1972.

Lost it years ago and have been searching rare book sites every since looking for another copy.

First NFL coach? Poor wording on that question.

The league (NFL) was formed in 1920, however it wasn't until 1922 that they adopted the name National Football League. So DuckJake is correct that Marshall Smith was the Cardinals first coach in the league (1920) when it was known as the American Professional Football Association. But,Driscoll was offically the first Cardinals NFL coach, in 1922. Btw, Driscoll was also the coach in 1921, when the league was known as the American Professional Football League.

80 missed the name change from phx to az...didn't know they were the phx cards for 6 years...thought it was shorter than that

also didn't know they merged with the Pitt Steelers.

a few others were lucky guesses.

100%. Three were blind guesses that came up correct. If I could have done that on the math SAT, I'd have gone to CalTech or MIT. Might be working at the Jet Propulsion Lab instead of ASFN.

Damn.

Well done Skkorp! JPL's loss is our gain. We're really glad to have you working here at ASFN (just don't touch anything). :)
