Loved the movie as well. I had to pee so bad during the flick, but didn't want to miss the action. After watching Gran Torino and considering the story line, I was expecting him to die at the end after saving his daughter. Again, fantastic action flick.

I was left wondering what happened to the girl he rescued and took back to his hotel as well as the girls that he found in the Alabanian house (the house with the red door). I guess it didn't matter since he was only focused on finding his daughter. I also wondered how he was able to get out of France.

The only issue with the movie is the disappearance of any kind of concern over the death of her best friend.

"Good Luck." Very good action movie. Thought they miscast the daughter role. Surely, for that price, a Sheik would want a prettier virgin.

Just watched it. That was my only problem with it too. The daughter was extremely annoying. It made me cringe when she got up and ran away during lunch. My kids stopped doing that when they were five.

Overall it was a fun movie with some outstanding lines from Liam.

pure popcorn movie

fell maybe a little flat with me as I was expecting more from it

basically you get a short setup opening sequence, the entire movie of liam just running through people in all sort of scenarios and then a short close

really not many twists, turns, plot development or suspense - you knew the whole time that he was going to efficiently achieve his target

just pure, cold, brutal action

a fun, but overall mediocre movie

You were looking for, what, an M. Night Shymalan plot? I disagree with you. An excellent action film, full of inventive uses of violence, excellent acting, and thrilling action. You basically described a typical action movie (which is what this movie is), and then you seemed upset that it was...a typical action movie. Not really sure what you were looking for, or if it is that you just don't like action flicks. Either way, I think it much better than mediocre.

not at all - just maybe one little ounce of suspense ........ a situation where you think the outcome may be in doubt, where the villian comes in with an upper hand or two - some resistance to the force ................... the one little scene where they had him captured didn't even provide any type of suspense - this guy is running through paris, killing everything in sight, breaking up a very large scope kidnapping and sex slave trade that involves multinationals, millionaires and all sort of powerful people and the only efforts to track him down are some half ditched attempt by the police?! ............ other than that everyone is just kind of waiting for him to show up and kill them and acting surprised when he does

i also didn't see too much inventive - it was kind of bourne-ish

was basically see bad guy, make snarky comment, dispose of them - move onto next bad guy, rinse and repeat

entertaining action for sure, well acted, etc - that's what keeps it from being a bad movie

I doubt it's one i'll ever go out of my way to watch again though

While your comment does hold some weight, to be fair to the movie. He is in Paris less than 48 hours and there were never any survivors. It's not hard to imagine they had no idea what hit them.

i can see that to a degree

either way I personally find it more entertaining when there is some mobilization and fight back - i like that dynamic a bit more and obviously would of liked to see more of it

all this stuff is opinion though

Mulli and MO, I don't know what you're after. If it's a witty reply, I can tell you I'm tired and haven't any wit. What I do have is a specific set of typing skills. Skills that I've acquired over many years of posting. Skills that help me deal with posters like you. I will quote you, I will reply to you, and I will answer you.
