It's not terrible. Hopefully Sweat can get back to the 25-30 pressure range. He did not have a great 2024 season.

Sweat is probably not the 12th best EDGE in the NFL, but if he can get back to 8-12 sacks and 25-35 pressures, he will be close to earning his contract which is what the Cardinals need.

No. Monti needed to do something along the defensive front and he did. There is not a player on the AZ roster that has the potential to do what Sweat has done in some of his seasons. Brit isn't wrong that most of FA is an overpay, I am just less concerned about the Cardinals overpaying with where their roster is than he is
