Random fact

Phoenix, Boston, Denver and Philadelphia own 12 of the 30 first round picks this year.

The 4 teams also own 7 of the top 17 picks.

Brooklyn for some reason has shut down Lopez and Young for the season.

It is hard to see them win another game after losing to New York (without Porzingis) and New Orleans (without Davis, Holiday).

The Suns must react and shut down Teletovic, Tucker and Chandler.

The end of the NBA season has become a joke. Is it even legal just to shut down two players for no reason at the end of the season? We should just forfeit the rest of our games. There is no difference.

Ha. I just sent a complaint to the league office about it. I suggest you all do the same. What can it hurt?

Brooklyn doesn't even own their pick?

They will have phantom injuries that nobody can confirm but the team doctor. Yet they will sit on the bench in suits, party after the games and perhaps enjoy a morning jog.

I'm sure that Stern would have ignored you with his usual smug arrogance, but Silver may actually listen. It's worth a shot.

The Celtics have their pick. Maybe their GM owes Danny Ainge a favor or wants a favor.

Billy King (Nets picks) and Ryan McDonough (IT) have done more to help the Celtics rebuild and rise to the top (top 3 in the East) than any other GM.

Brooklyn lost again

We play Houston tonight, Houston played a tough game against Dallas yesterday.

We still play the Hornets without Davis and Holiday.
The Kings in Phoenix and the Kings are in a close race with 4 teams for the #7-10 draft spot.
The Clippers will have nothing to play for in the last game of the season, they are 4 wins behind OKC and 8 wins up on Memphis.

Their rebuild just started.

They are having a miracle season much like the Suns in 13/14. Their roster looks like the typical roster of a treadmill team though. They don't have an exceptional talent.

Well, after beating Houston the Suns are tied with the Nets in wins with one more loss. They play in Charlotte tonight, so I expect it to be all tied up afterwards.

Final three for each:

Nets @Pacers, Wizards, Raptors
Suns @Pelicans, Kings, Clippers

Nets could sneak out 1 win but probably won't. Suns could sneak out 2 wins but hopefully won't. I think the odds are slightly in our favor that we'll end up no worse than tied with them.

Ainge did get a mountain of assets out of his aging vets though--thanks to the Nets foolishness.

Someone remind me...how is a tie breaker determined for the draft position?

If we're tied for 3rd then the lotto combos for 3rd/4th get split between the teams. If neither team ends up in the top 3 after the lottery then I think it is a coin flip.

Thanks Brooklyn losing the last 10 games in a row.

And Utah managed to draft just ahead of us again as Washington beat Atlanta and Utah lost to the freaking Lakers.
