I should buy VM S3.

I've seen every episode of Smallville (once). It's not really that good so I have no need to own it on DVD.

Never seen Supernatural but I have other shows to watch before I start looking for something new.

You guys are missing out on one heck of a quality show if you're not watching Supernatural. It's as close as you can get to true suspense and horror on t.v. It kicks Fear Itself's butt and regularly delivers quality stories and drama with genuine hair raising moments. Throw in great performances and relationships and it's the best show not being watched on t.v.

Here's a promo for season 1. You guys should really give this show a shot, you won't regret it.

I have seen it twice all the way through except for the 6th season, and have seen the first two seasons about 4 times.
