Brother, you gotta tell me why you think so & stop using others as a handicap. You did it to Byron Murphy with PFF & now you’re doing it with Willis instead of just telling me why you don’t think he’s a top 10 pick. What are his strengths? Weaknesses? Etc.

I watched him on you tube highlights and he has very good feet, he is strong against the run and he is a good passing blocker too
Since Alabama lineman struggled turning pro its my only concern, but his highlights are very good
I just prefer adding one in the early second, and we can get one there

Personally, I don't love the plan. I think TDN is an interesting site, but one that I take with a level of context. These are guys who have come together after being lower end "draft analysts" on their own. That doesn't mean that they are not worth listening to, but they area high volume content site over high quality content site IMO.

Meh...I think you get what you pay for. Can a 2nd round OT work...sure. Am I willing to risk my young QB's growth and development on it? No.

Trey Adams would be an interesting RT prospect as well if you could get him in round 3 or later.

i dunno

ive come around to the Chopper pov that says protecting K1 is the priority

given the $ spent already on Pugh, Sweezy and likely DJ Humphries.... it says you need a draft pick that has a good likelihood of coming in and upgrading at RT. Certainly a top 10 pick ought to do that .... but i think there will be a guy in the 2nd with a good chance of that too.

after that though..... i like Trey Adams, but his injury history says beware

As far as resigning Hump, I think given circumstances we basically have too. We we likely overpay for his production? Most likely.

Remember how most here said let Bobby Massie go based on the same circumstances. That had bad consequences going forward. Just sayin

btw: i really like their prospect ranking and write ups. For many prospects -- they have takes from multiple evaluators

I also like the part of the plan for the Cards where they say "draft good players"

What if they doubled down. Wills and Austin Jackson 1-2!? Tackle could be solved in the foreseeable future.

They'll have a tough choice to make there depending on FA yet again.

But I'd draft Wills #1, no problem with that.

I'd rather go OT and C if I am going to double dip.

Pugh and Sweezy have been sneaky good for most of the year. Justin Murray is the worst lineman, with Shipley being a smidge below average.

I agree, protecting Murray is step one for improvement. Look at how much better he has been in games where he isnt under siege.

So basically the worst you can do, is not tagging DJ, without an other proven LT you don't go into the next season with your QBoF, no chance that you don't regret this. I don't agree with the take to pay Drake whatever is needed, you get good RB in the 3rd round. I'm not okay with drafting OG in the 3rd where WR/RB/ILB/DE/RT/TE are still way better than what you get later.

I didn't watch the rest, the #1 pick already is bogus because you don't protect your QB with a rookie LT, with the likes of the defenses we face that gets your QB killed.

If they would take a LT in FA that would sound more realistic, but I wouldn't even know who lets a good to great LT go? The Cards? That would be dumb.
I don't agree on Suh, he isn't really that strong on the TB team and that has really loaded D-line with good players. We would need a typ like Donald but Suh isn't that great of a upgrade that we should brake the bank for, if he comes cheap, maybe. But on the cheap I would like like others Calias Campbell again.

So basically, most of the takes are basically wrong, but you need to fire Vance, that is right.

What a reason to trade a 26year player in his prime for a 32yaers old player with some injury issue

I would rather trade for a 7 time pro bowler than pay DJ top LT money he hasn't earned with a high risk injury history going back to college.

32 years old????

That's near the end of the line. Humphries has been pretty good this year.

You bring in a 32 year old, you maybe get 2 good seasons. Humphries is getting better finally.

@Chopper0080 I ain’t gonna lie my brother, I still lean RT(Wirfs or Willis), but I’m starting to slide just a bit to WR(Lamb or Jeudy). We have no WR1 not WR2.

Tag DJ Humphries, pay Drake, draft defense, pick up a free agent receiver and figure out how to get rid of David Johnson

Well as of now we are drafting 9th lamb and Jeudy will he gone and wirfs May be gone as well. We may be in AJ territory now which is fine by me. Second best pass rusher behind young in the draft.

As crazy as it sounds, I feel like the stars are aligning for us to reunite K1 with Lamb in the draft. IMO these last two wins have pretty much placed us around just the right range for us to take him.
