With all the talk surrounding cornerbacks, what about TE. It seems like the position is going to one of the most cuts at or around June 1st. ( according to pro football talk)

Jimmy graham is one of those names. Seemed to be a redzone threat last year in Chicago.

What say you?

Graham i dont think he is what they look for, he is 35 also
Maybe Rodgers but I think they will resign Daniels and using a draft pick
A blocker tigh end could be available later in the draft

I liked Darrel Daniel's knack for getting open in the end zone last year and would love to see him develop into a Darren Fells type player

A better bet if they can free the space is Cameron Brate. OJ Howard returns from injury and Brady likes him. Groin isn’t leaving. Brate becomes excess and fits perfectly.

I am hoping for Howard of Njoku vs Brate or Ertz personally.

Johnnycakes went on a tirade where he essentially said all naysayers on the board made us look effeminate and he was embarrassed if fans of other teams visited ASFN. Eyeroll post of the year for my money.

He’s ignoring me so it shouldn’t be a big deal. It was just a ridiculous non football attack.

Depending on injury status, I can tell you Brady proffered Howard before he was hurt. I think Ertz is trending down but certainly better than what they have. I’m not sure about Njoku’s durability. I agree he could well be released and if he can pass the physical, he’d be an upgrade. I still rate Brate the top target if he’s the one released.

The good news is that nearly any TE available will become an immediate starter!

Re: Brate and Howard, it could come down to money. The Bucs can save 6.25 cutting Brate but will eat 6 mil cutting Howard. 250k in dead money trading Brate vs 0 dead money trading Howard.

I have a tough time seeing the Bucs holding onto both when they still have guys they are looking to re-sign and 6 mil will matter. Brate likely getting cut tbh.

Mason Cole for Brate? Isn’t that about $4.5 million? Thanks Pugh.

Come on Kiem and Litcht, get it done.

There’s a reason why we brought in Winters and resigned Garcia.

I have no interest getting rid of Cole. We have invested multiple years in his development, he is still young, and swing C/OG have value. I personally do not believe it is time to getting rid of the few young players we have with some starting experience.

Agreed, it may not sound like much but the fact that ( knock on wood) he is so durable alone makes him valuable as solid depth.
