hmm. Interesting.

Could we set a record for the oldest cadre of QBs in the history of the NFL? Maybe Jim Plunkett is available as a 3rd stringer.

MJ was just speculating on the Radio this morning.

He had zero info from the team. I love how stories spread.

He said John Lott and Vinny T were really good friends. Like they talk 2-3 times a week.

He also said Rattay was already here locally and is in shape and ready to go. They talked to his dad who works at a High School in the Valley and Tim is currently helping him out.

Guys. Jake isn't coming back. Get used to it.

Noooooooooooooooooooo way will the Cardinals: 1. Pay a draft pick, and 2. Assume a huge contract

for a qb that isnt a long term solution

Vinny Interceptaverde to the rescue!

Genuinely nice guy though--I met him long ago.

I like the idea of Testaverde, it would be great for him to connect with the local Olive Gardens as their spokesman. You know, "Fans, let me toss you a salad," and so on.

I like the idea of Vinnie's experience. Do we want Vinnie or Tim Rattey making the call when the opponent is showing blitz? I'm just worried about his durability.

Jake Plummer is not walking through that door, fans. Larry Centers is not walking through that door, and Roy Green is not walking through that door. And if you expect them to walk through that door, they're going to be gray and old. What we are is young, exciting, hard-working, and we're going to improve. People don't realize that, and as soon as they realize those three guys are not coming through that door, the better this town will be for all of us because there are young guys in that (locker) room playing their asses off. I wish we had $90 million under the salary cap. I wish we could buy the world. We can't; the only thing we can do is work hard, and all the negativity that's in this town sucks. I've been around when Luis Gonzalez was booed. I've been around when (Curt) Schilling was booed. And it stinks. It makes the greatest town, greatest city in the world, lousy. The only thing that will turn this around is being upbeat and positive like we are in that locker room... and if you think I'm going to succumb to negativity, you're wrong. You've got the wrong guy leading this team.

Jerk Ecki is ignorant.

Vinny is 43?

Give me a break!

I am sure he read Rattay from ASFN...Vinny he pulled out of his.....hat.
