I can see the pictures, but the avatars are red x's.

OK - the images are hosted remotely, the avatars are served by the vbulletin server. I suspect the reason you can't see the pictures is becase most people on this board "attach" their images instead of linking from another site.

I have heard of problems with people with a certain version of IE that has problem w/vbulletin served images.

No quick solution - I'll see if I can research it over on vbulletins site when I get a little more time.

Here's how to fix it....

1) Unplug your computer

2) Pick it up

3) Run to the nearest Window and Throw the computer out, works best from at least a 2nd story window.

4) Go to Best Buy and get a brand new computer

End of problem....now for my FREE CARDINAL STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!!!!

I was just going to post that link. I think that should work. I believe you said the problem is at the work comp.? If you are connected to a network maybe they have it on certain restrictions that you can not control. Maybe the security is set on High? Just throwing out some suggestions.

I use IE 6.1

It shows as a red x but only on ASFN. Every other web page I go to shows all images.

Trade in your PC and buy a MAC! Problem solved.
