Teed it up w/ Boomer

Sunday I had the fortunate chance to play golf with Chris Berman and what an amazing experience it was.....felt like I was at ESPN studios all afternoon hearing his unique boomerisms throughout the round....what a pleasure it was to talk cards football with this sportscasting giant.
Sorry no earth shattering news .....but we talked at length on the teams current talent and what they need to win ball games...had very kind words in describing coach Green and what he could do to help the cards turn it around.....what a wonderful experience...he gave me a sleeve of balls with his famous back back back saying on it signing one to sean go cards chris berman....Boomer was as genuine a celebrity as you’ll meet.


Josh McCown also played on wed....no,i didn’t get to play with him but knew he was coming and had him sign my cards mini helmet....seemed liked a quiet reserved person...but than again it was 6:45 am and about 29 degrees, I wouldn’t have much to say either. if you can't tell Iwork for a premiere houston golf club

A long time ago, Berman was at the Cards complex working on a story.

One of our former PR guys had him do his voice mail.

It was something like this:

"Hi, this is Chris Berman from ESPN. You have reached the office of Shawn. He is not available right now but he'll be BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK, before you know it. Please leave a message at the tone."

that man!! Wish I could meet him, now that's my idea of an attractive man!! Love his sense of humor. He's tall too, saw him briefly at the hotel downtown at Super Bowl XXX, but didn't get to talk to him, he was busy talking with The Fabulous Sports Babe. Wonder what happened to her, she was a gas!!

I think if I was playing golf with Berman, I'd have to do this at least once.

I wonder if he'd laugh, or club me over the head with his 5 iron?
