Let's not forget Luis Scola is an Argentine basketball player.

I knew he was Argentine, but you're right, the "basketball player" part is hard to remember.

He's still giving the Suns consistent offense. I think Scola has been a pretty reliable player and I'm not sure why people hate him so much. A cheap, reliable starter on a crappy team. That's pretty decent I'd say.

A good international relations move at least.

We are now the only team to sport a Pole, an Iranian, and a Slovian (thanks HD). If we could only bring Barbosa back, healthy. Sigh.

Sounds like the beginning of a joke.

Sad to see Telfair go, but it might be for the best. Hope he gets playing time and a nice contract next year. He certainly played well for us and was our best backup point guard for a long while. I'll be checking in on Toronto game stats to see how he's doing.

Good that Kendall Marshall gets playing time. He has room to improve, he needs to be more aggressive like Telfair played. Next year is his chance.

Also nice to see Wesley Johnson playing by the way.

Another thing, I'd like to see Dragic at the two in some spurts to let him be more aggressive scoring. For instance Kendall at the 1, with Dragic, Wesley, Beasley and O'Neal or something.

People often say that, but I don't think it's true. A rookie contract is guaranteed for only two years, and someone taken late in the first round earns only about $1 million per season. Subtract out the salary paid to the second-rounder, and the difference in financial commitment is somewhere around $1.5 million total. That's chump change for a potentially critical upgrade in talent, even for an organization watching its finances closely.

Agreed. The new CBA fixed this problem by reducing the number guaranteed years.

Dragic and Marshall were on the floor together for 15 minutes in the Celtics game. I've put off watching the game so I don't know which of them played the two... they both shot at about the same rate overall.

Yes I noticed that. Lindsay Hunter seems like a clever guy.

If I can get Kendall Marshall's post address, I'll send him my Eddie Johnson jumpshot video.

I agree about your thoughts on Telfair. He tried to do everything that was asked of him in Phoenix. I wish him the best.
