Were the meatballs any good?

With the new cables, I keep having to mute the tv to figure out if certain sounds are coming from the tv.

Not bad. A bit too much seasoning, but good nonetheless. They sucked rolling together. I hate getting my hands dirty.

What are you using for speakers?

the tv speakers

:thud:

Sound is just as important as video, if not more important. You saw the jump from regular SD to HD, the sound increase is even more profound.

+1

Even a modest system set up properly will increase your home theater experience tremendously.

I some really cheap wireless speakers would rock.

Wireless speakers still need a power source. (which defeats the point of having wireless speakers)

When you have speakers, they need to get power from somewhere. They use the speaker cable to receive its power source from whatever amplifier driving them. If you are using wireless speakers, the speaker needs its own power source. They usually have a transformer that is plugged into the wall to get its power.

Wires can be concealed man.

I suppose I could just get a couple speakers and put them along side the tv.

What do you have to the left and right to the TV? Do you need bookshelf speakers? Do you want small speakers with stands? Do you want tower speakers?

The tv sits on a 20 dollar Target stand. Fits perfectly. :)

Smaller the speakers the better. To the right is a window to the left is nothing.

I have a tube HDTV that's only 32 inches but the picture is stunning and I got it for 40$ at a garage sale.

I also have a 42 inch Mitsubishi that is 1080 HD and it's a beautifull picture, bought it for 250$ on craiglist.

As you can see I read all about the laser tv's and I'm going to wait and go goofy on a huge screen about a year into their release, wait for the prices to crash and the quality to go up.

Life is good in the HD world.
