Tennessee basketball guard Zakai Zeigler and Auburn guard Miles Kelly were issued technical fouls with 4:29 to play before halftime in the SEC Tournament semifinals on Saturday.

Kelly checked Zeigler with a shoulder, which caused Zeigler to push Kelly in response. Officials went to the monitor to review the play and assessed both players with technical fouls.

Tennessee led 26-25 at the time of the technical fouls.

Zeigler was involved in a double-technical situation earlier this season against Vanderbilt on Feb. 15.

Commodores guard Tyler Nickel was called for a personal foul with 16:50 to play and the Commodores leading 47-35. Carey kept fighting for a tie up with Zeigler pushed Zeigler then Zeigler threw the ball into Carey's chest when the Commodores forward let go.

Zeigler scored 22 second-half points as Tennessee rallied from a 13-point halftime deficit to win 81-76 at Food City Center.
