Tennessee baseball is on the road for another top SEC series.
The No. 4 Vols (29-4, 9-3 SEC) face No. 7 Ole Miss (26-7, 8-4) in a three-game series starting Friday (7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network+) in Oxford. UT previously won a top-15 SEC series at Alabama in mid-March.
Tennessee is coming off its first conference series loss in more than a year. It lost two of three games against Texas A&M at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. UT had won 12 straight SEC series before the loss.
Pitcher Liam Doyle and third baseman Andrew Fischer transferred to Tennessee from Ole Miss after last season. Doyle is Tennessee's Friday night starter and Fischer is hitting cleanup with a team-leading 13 homers.
