Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward has had a busy week. After putting on a show at his Pro Day on Monday, the potential No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft had a private workout with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and will now finish off the week with a second private workout.
Ward will work out for the Tennessee Titans on Friday, reports NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
The workout was mentioned earlier in the week after the Titans' contingent, led by president Chad Brinker and general manager Mike Borgonzi, watched Ward potentially solidify his draft stock.
The Titans are continuing to play their cards close to their vest and have been keeping everyone in the media in the dark on their plans and it is working. The speculation on what will happen with the top pick in the draft has picked up steam since Ward’s Pro Day.
There is little doubt that Ward is the top quarterback prospect in this class. Unfortunately, due to a lack of draft capital, the Titans are in a tough spot and could use more picks to help build the roster for whoever is under center in 2025 and beyond.
With the draft less than a month away, this is an important workout and could solidify Ward as the Titans' pick. Of course, that may not truly be known until commissioner Roger Goodell walks to the podium in Green Bay.
