"Rod Hood's season is over long before it got started.

The Titans' cornerback, who missed practice time earlier this offseason because of a sports hernia procedure, suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament Friday.

Hood was in the mix to replace Nick Harper in the starting lineup. Now he's out for the season.

That really sucks, I always liked Hood. Hopefully he heals well and we see him out there next year.

You hear these things happening inpractice it really hurts. Players put in a huge amount of work, to get and stay at the top of the game,the NFL. I'll never forget our QB Rosenbach ended his career for all intense and purpoe on the practice field in Flagstaff. I hope Rod gets well so he can countinue to follow his dreams.
