OK, here we go again!

This one has been shaping up to be quite battle. U of A coming in with a lot of mojo. ASU has been impressive in spots this year, but young, inconsistent and still with a lot of room for improvement.

I see both teams putting up a lot of points. U of A just put up 42 on Utah and we know how tough their D was. (Edit: 14 of those points scored on by U of A's D, but still) ASU has been creating a ton of turnovers on D, making a lot of big plays, but giving up quite a bit too.

This may be one of those ones where the team with the ball last wins.

Its not just going to be for the Territorial Cup this time. They will be both fighting for a PAC 12 Championship game. Will be a fun game to watch!

Yep. I don't like Stanford's chances against UCLA, but stranger things have happened. UCLA seems to have gotten their act together and Stanford isn't the team we've seen in recent years.

I like how seriously Graham takes this game. It is on the radar from day 1, circled on the calendar, etc. But what are the odds of ASU winning 3 in a row? Arizona is probably due for winning one of these and they have a heck of a team this year.

Game will be exciting as both teams are fun to watch plus, its a rivalry game and both are playing for a 10 win season. It will take a miracle for Stanford to pull off the upset over UCLA but the game will be fun to watch.

So, just to be clear, should Stanford win over UCLA, the winner of the territorial cup will play Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship, correct??

As much as I am an ASU fan, I don't feel comfortable about this one. Should be a shoutout and it all depends on which Taylor Kelly shows up. I was in absolute shock how bad az crushed Utah. I thought az would lose in a low scoring game (because it was at Utah -cold) or if they won, it would be by a less than 1 score. They look good. Wildcats are definitely for real. It's going to be fun and hope ucla loses and this territorial cup winner goes on to play oregon. Can't wait for this one

Line is Zona -4.5, which is strange considering our QB situation is up in the air until game time.

No one feels comfortable about this game except for delusional fans from each fan base. UofA and ASU are ranked #12 and #13 respectively, with identical conference records, identical overall records, and eerily similar defensive and offensive scoring numbers. This is as even as these teams have been in almost 30 years.

ASU fan here, will be there at the game for the first time ever with three other buddies. None of us are *******s, curious to see how other asu fans experiences have been in that toilet bowl I mean stadium. Going to be interesting, probably going to be surrounded by cat fans.

Just be careful. I went to an ASU-UA baseball game once w/ my step brother, when we returned to our car (which had ASU alumni plates on it), it had been keyed and the tires slashed.

Try to sit in the visiting section if you can. Don't taunt people, be low key, try not to get batteries or water bottles thrown at your head.

ASU fans can get out of hand at SDS too (it can happen anywhere), but w/ so many UA fans/alums living in the Valley, it's a lot more cordial of an atmosphere. Tucson is like any 1 horse town, if their horse is down, they go ballistic.

Be safe.

Probably should stay away from statements like 'toilet bowl' if you don;t want to be considered what you say you and your buddies are not. I stopped going to games in Tempe because how I was treated by ASU fans. It happens when you mix morons and alcohol.

Stones and glass houses. Ever been to Sun Devil Stadium? That place is a dump. Far worse than Arizona Stadium.

I think both stadiums are terrible. I have been invited to the game down there, but refused without hesitation. Nothing worse than having to deal with rival fans and how "personal" everyone takes the game. As much as I am an emotional fan for my teams, I could never, ever see myself fighting or bad mouthing another fan. It's supposed to be fun, not scary...:madarms:

The Rose Bowl makes both our stadiums look like the White House and that place hosts BCS and Champ4 games?

Would love to see a discussion of the game itself. I couldn't care less about the respective merits of each stadium. Obviously, ASU fans will get crap in Tucson and vice versa, no news flash there.

Onward and upward, I think ASU will put up points like they have all year. The issue is whether the ASU D will be able to sufficiently slow down U of A's offense and create turnovers. U of A will be putting up a lot of points itself obviously.

Graham runs a high risk, high reward D with all those blitzes. Its great watching it when we get the sacks or TOL, but its kind of stressful when the decent quarterbacks throw the ball down field, or the opposing running backs hit the right hole and there is no one back there to stop him because of the blitz. So I see this as a big time chess match between Graham and RichRod, who will make the right calls, who will make the right adjustments will determine the outcome.

It smells like it should be a high-scoring game... though, candidly, I have doubts about Kelly and his ability to consistently move the ball. If he plays like he did in the 2nd half of the WSU game, sure...the points will flow. Otherwise, it may boil down to needing ASU's defense to grab a crap-load of turnovers to keep the momentum away from the Cats.

I've been to both and to say SDS is "far worse" than that pit in Tucson is straight up lying.

Unless they have done some major renovations since 2004 that place was in need of major repair.

Jaelen Strong expected to return against Wildcats

http://www.foxsports.com/arizona/st...pected-to-return-against-rival-arizona-112414

Arizona State expects to have top receiver Jaelen Strong back this week against Arizona. Strong missed last week's game due to a concussion.

Offensive coordinator Mike Norvell after Monday morning's practice said he expects Strong will play Friday against the Wildcats, giving the offense back its best weapon.

I'm an ASU alum posting the ASU section, had to put UA down somehow it's in my blood ;) I won't be running my mouth at the game, but figured I will definitely be catching my fair of ____ from opposing fans. I was in the student section at ASU, so I know how it goes. Not trying to get in a brawl. Fortunately we are in the visitors section so that's a step in the right direction.

Had season tickets when I lived on campus my first two years, so I'm slightly familiar with it. It's pretty dumpy, no denying that. Just giving UA/tucson some crap, I like their campus but can't stand the town. Mt Lemon is awesome as well. I've got a red and blue flannel I will probably wear over my asu shirt when I'm entering/leaving the stadium. Will also avoid walking past the student section.
