Texas A&M's 2025 Pro Day was a rousing success for several of the 2024 roster members who were looking to improve their NFL Draft stock, but due to his impressive performance during last month's NFL Combine in Indianapolis (IN), edge rusher Shemar Stewart did not participate in Thursday's pro day workouts, as he is likely guaranteed to be selected in the first or second round during next month's 2025 NFL Draft.

However, that didn't stop the former five-star prospect from talking to the local media in attendance, as Austin-American Statesman Aggie beat writer Tony Catalina captured the moment that Stewart revealed that he was a top 3- visit for the Dallas Cowboys, and when asked about the possibility of playing alongside All-Pro pass rusher Micah Hudson, all Stewart could do was grin.

"It could be a crazy 1-2 punch"

Stewart's draft stock exploded during the NFL Combine, including his 4.59 40-yard dash, elite 1.58 10-yard split, and eye-popping 40-inch vertical that solidified his standing among the top draft prospects with first-round potential. Still, Stewart's lack of career sacks (4.5) will always come into question, but he makes up for it due to his high motor and elite athleticism at 6'5" and 267 pounds.

All 32 NFL teams will reportedly have representatives, including 80 NFL personnel who have made their way to College Station to watch the Aggie workouts.
