Giants fans, Jags fans. They have it bad.

We actually have a pretty entertaining team to watch that has won this year already, displayed some talent, and lost a game badly in the fourth quarter that they were in most of the game.

Being a Cardinal fan right now is certainly not a bad place to be. Giants and Jags fans should be on watch.

D-Dogg, I was naturally kidding. But I will say that our next game is very important. We must win it.

.............oh wait, I forgot.

Rome wasn't built in a day. I still think team BASK is headed in the right direction, it's just not an overnight fix. There is plenty of talent on defense and an awesome wide receiver on offense.

If you have an immobile quarterback you need above average tackles. If you have tackles who can't pass protect, you have to have a mobile quarterback. The Cardinals have an immobile quarterback and tackles who aren't very good at protecting the quarterback. Wah-lah, difficulty in scoring points on offense.

This. I'm willing to be patient for now as this team just had way too many holes last year to expect immediate success this year

I know the spin doctors are out in force but until the Cards quit folding in the 4th quarter I'm not going to be impressed.

Besides there are always 6 or 7 teams worse than the Cardinals. Doesn't make going 5-11 anymore fun.

The problem is they didn't address any of those other than QB and created more.

Agreed! Coming home and getting Dwash back after a 2-2 start featuring three road games would be, IMO, a pretty nice first quarter of the season. Though I loathe dropping that Rams game in the opener.

We go up against a desperate 0 & 3 Tampa Bay team whose coach's job is rumored to be on the line. We will be in for an all-out bar room brawl. We'd betters show up ready to play.

They got bopped by the Patriots but could have won their first 2 games. A stupid, stupid penalty against the Jets caused them to lose that one and they lost to the Saints on a last second FG. They are literally a few seconds from being 2-1 right now. Also, they held the Saints to 16 points and 1TD(56 yarder to Graham). What do you think that defense is going to do to our offense?

One potentially awesome guard (on IR) and a stable of quality running backs.

We had quality RBs that wasn't an issue. Of course we could debate that forever. But I did forget about the last two bums they had at RG. Hadnot and Snyder!?!? :bang:

Of course being the Cardinals they draft a LG in the first round. :p

Actually I think that those who say we had a terrible roster and a bunch of holes to fill are exaggerating. We had a solid secondary. A very good defensive front 7. And the Offense except for RB and QB and 1 offensive lineman is still the same as last year since Levi Batiste is back at LT. Whisenhunt didn't leave the cupboard bare. Keim and Arians threw out half the food.

The Ram game looms large over the Cardinals head now. That was one they let get away. And like you say coming back from this road trip 2-2 they would be okay.

Yeah, you don't want to let games get away from you when you are a good team; when you are an average at best team, that is very dangerous.

Guernsey, thanks. That's why I'm a Cardinals fan. I attribute my posting mistake to not getting enoough posting reps during TC. Coach BA said that my posts are korrectable and I should post better next week.

Yup. I better see Palmer stepping up into the pocket too.

I'd like to see us "outrush" TB, too. Give the O-line a chance to play with it's ears back. See what our stable can do.
