I have a "weird theory" - Barbosa has imrproved his offense lately due to Bell being traded.

Leandro has had only 1 turnover in the past three games Raja was very static and didn't get himslelf open. When Barnes played SG against the lakers and the J-Rich joined the team, he had a better target and no longer faced the opponent's most athletic defenders.

I think you have a good point, George, but Leandro has shown other improvements of late as well. He's driving more under control now and as consequence he's pulling up for mid-range shots and seeing an occasional open teammate. Until I find out otherwise, I'm giving the coach staff credit for much of the change. (Recall, that we saw a similar change his first year with Dan D'A and it faded the next year (last season)).

Others here have been touting improved defense on his part but I haven't observed that myself - not arguing with them, though as I haven't focused on that part of his game.

I'm not to point that I'm thrilled he's on the team but I'm ever hopeful. I can't be convinced until I see him playing well throughout a playoffs.

Its not that weird. Where you are in the rotation determines who you are on the floor with. LB always did better with the starters probably because the spacing was better. When he is on a "one trick pony" second unit, he is easier to defend. I think Barnes and JRich also complement LB well, better than Bell. They are bigger defenders that help out alot, and both put more pressure on a defense than Bell. LB came to the suns as a gunner '2' with FIBA experience. SOme of these FIBA guys take a long time to fully develop in the NBA, and the ones without english take longer. It has taken awhile for him to learn and adapt. His vision is improved, and that is usualluy the last thing that clicks in the faster, more athletic NBA. LB relied on his speed to much, a common flaw among the athletically gifted. When LB learns to pace himself and turn on the speed in key situations, he will reach his potential. Sometimes supreme athleticism can be a curse, it can limit the learning curve for athletes.
