Yea as soon as we whiffed on 4th and 1, I knew it was over. The effort on defense wasn’t there and Colt McCoy came back to play like Colt McCoy

it was a move that wreaked of desperation and done so early in the game.

Yeah. That seemed like an indication of panic rather than a spark.

Crazy to see Kliff prob coach the best game of his career last week only to follow it up with one of his worst.

But I’m not going to kill him for it. Let’s get Kyler back next week, get a w and then another couple weeks of rest to get all the injured guys ready for the home stretch.
I'll give Kliff a bit of a mulligan because Colt was pretty bad yesterday. Hard to call plays when your QB is struggling to complete standard NFL throws.

The Panthers to their credit played this game the right way.

To light our whole house on fire, which is what kliff did.
Yeah I find it bizarre that there is any defense for that call. If it worked, cool, if it doesn't work....it could be a disaster. And it was. Next thing you know, the Panthers are up 14-0 and it was clear the Cardinals were going to struggle to even score 13.

Even harder when you’ve set him up as an easier target by going for it on fourth down on your side of the field when you’ve just let them score on a short field after a turnover. That was an epically stupid call by kingsbury. No mulligan from me.

It just made no sense. As someone else pointed out, if you get it you get a new set of downs still short of midfield (whoopie) but if you don’t, likely game over. The risk/reward was so tilted away from the choice kliff made that it makes me question his basic intelligence.

Is Kliff really a worthy NFL coach? The Bears game will tell us a lot. :sarcasm:

He put together a perfect game plan today. Just conservative enough. Persistence in running the ball and taking shots at the right time kept the ball away from Wilson. Welcome to the NFL Mr. Kingsbury.

This thread is crap. Kliff and Keim took the worst team in the NFL and turned it into the best in 2 years.

Just like James Jones and Monty Williams.

(Mike Hazen, are you listening??)
Hazen would trade Murray for three prospects
