They aren't going to win, but they got to The Finals. Not a bad season. Better than any season PHX has had in the last 15 years. How many Finals appearances does Nash have?

Ya and last years Cavs team was the seconnd best team in the league..

LOL! Okay, you can have your little moral victory. I seem to recall the last time this argument was made when the Suns defeated the Lakers in the playoffs (the one in which Kobe quit on the team) you posted an empty trophy case and began to talk about how many Championships the Lakers have won.

You just add that to your Laker banners you have on your wall and I'll go wash my Steve Nash jersey. Keep deflecting, but the bottom line is, you can't back up the crap you talk on here...

Exactly what haven't I backed up, Ryan? I never once predicted that the Lakers would win The Finals.

Keep on making up lies if it makes you feel "tough".

It all makes sense now...

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=280612013

Game notes
Some of Hollywood's brightest stars glimmered, including the usuals: Jack Nicholson, Denzel Washington and Dyan Cannon. They were joined by former NFL star Jerry Rice, actress Jennifer Garner with husband Ben Affleck, singer Justin Timberlake, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart. ... The Celtics and Lakers finished with the best records in their respective conferences. It's the first time teams with the top marks have met in the finals since Indiana and Los Angeles in 2000. The last team to have the league's top record and win the title was San Antonio in 2003. ... Two hours before tipoff, two seats in the lower bowl were going for $3,500 apiece through an on-line ticket brokerage.

It's a little too early for celebration but this board is going to go bananas if the Celtics win. You reap what you sew Laker fans!!!

LOL. Enjoy your championship, Suntic fans. Hahaha...priceless.

I think many could careless who is beating the Lakers. I think most are just simple anti-Laker fans.

I am sorry I missed it. (One of my pubs had a grand opening). I knew the Lakers had a big lead and was surprised to find they had blown it.

When I looked at scroing line, I was amazed. The Lakers scored 35 points in the first quarter and 33 in the entire second half. I read the recap, but how does a team with the greatest player in basketball and the smartest coach in basketball score only 33 points in the second half?

That's it exactly. But it's all the sweeter to see them getting beaten by their historical rival in the biggest choke-job in NBA history. :raccoon:

Plus: I for one am really happy for KG and Allen.
