Pretty damn good for a player who was in the running for the offensive triple crown for much of the year as well.

How lucky are we to have this guy???

This team overall has great offense and defense. Just need two top of the rotation pitchers and people will cower in shame and fear in our presence.
Would you give up the next 10 years to hire in 'Johnson and Schilling' again?

Maybe but you also might trade the farm for Johnson and Schilling and still come up empty.

I hope this puts to rest the notion that any lug can stand at 1B and catch throws. A good 1B can make 5 other positions field better -- 2B, SS, 3B, P and C. That cannot be said about any other position.

Goldy was the Major League defensive 1B of the year. The Major League overall defensive player of the year, however, went to Andrelton Simmons. And Pollock was the NL defensive CF of the year.

And the D-backs were the best defensive team in ML baseball.

'Pretty good haul.
