The 2 things I have heard about the Cards for the last 20 years..

Fix the O-line and establish the running game. No matter what season it is..thats what is ALWAYS said. Well with Whis's first year he has brought in 3 new OL men, a blocking fullback, and a new gameplan. Will this be the year that things turn around? According to everyone saying that if we fixed the line and got a run game...I sure hope so.

im just sick of the way people talk about this team...give them a chance media! this team is ENTIRELY different than last years cards.

All you need to do is look at the thread where we were talking about some of the old offensive lines to see why.

Of course, they being the Cardinals, the two years they actually had a solid offensive line and established the running game,2001 and 2002, they finished 7-9 and 5-11!

2 things I allways heard about the cards

cant run the ball and cant stop the run. Greenbay had like 300 yards against us on the ground last year. Other than them we were containing the run - pretty good I thought. As far as running the ball - it was getting together towards the end.

We've only played .500 ball or better, three times in the past 20 years. What else can people say except they have to fix the o-line and learn how to run the ball. We also have to learn how to stop the run also, and I might add, put pressure on the QB so that our CB can do their job.

I sure hope so .. but I am not drinking any koolaid this year .. I am too cautious ... I'm at a 'show me' position ...

Nothing would make me more happy than to see this team being able to run the ball consistantly .. everything else would fall into place on the offensive side of the ball ...

Mostly all I ever heard was that the Cardinals would never win as long as Bill Bidwill owned the team.
