So far: Hags and Rams are nails. Niners fall further behind. Cards spin their wheels. That's what it feels like right now at least.

Texans get a good player in Jaelen Strong. He will produce.

I like the Cards draft better than you, 9ers are swinging for the fences so hope they miss.

Man this division is tough.

I just feel if the "window" is like 2 years max, then the guys we got so far don't move the team along within that period. Long term, they are solid picks, but if the Cards are without a QB post-Carson/Fitz, what good will they do? And I am the guy who is pro drafting OL at any opportunity!!!

what makes you think he woulda been there in round 3?

i don't like the pick, but if keim took him in round 2 don't you think nfl GMs saw something in him?

Nearly everything I've read or seen about the kid before the draft had him in rd 3-4

I wonder where Mayock had him since a lot of peeps are touting him?

i've always been one to think that the first 2 rounds should be players who can come in and start, or at the very least seriously contribute, the kids in college these days are good, so i don't think that demand is too crazy. especially when you're a team with serious championship expectations. (yes i said it, if you take 5 teams with the best chance of making the superbowl, we're in that 5)

I don't really see that with our 2 picks just yet. OTA's will tell a lot though.

that being said we need to draft some serious playmakers somewhere from this draft

Well since we're looking for heart and desire, I wonder who meets that criteria around #86.

Your two year window is based on Palmer, right?

I think he lasts longer than that but not by much. If you have the trenches talented up then you will always be a competitive team.

Our running game last year was not very good. Upgrading the RB position might help but upgrading the Oline will absolutely help.

Eli Manning has won two SB's but looks worse then DA the past two years because his Oline sucks.
