Reported as a calf sprain & nothing more. He’s a quick healer, so I doubt if this will be a long term issue. I had a pretty severe one back in my powerlifting days. They can linger, but the Bengals staff will have him ready.

Was it his right calf? It could take longer to heal or be lingering, if it is, since that's his back leg and gets a ton of torque when passing.

I do believe it was his right calf. And he went into the practice wearing a compression sleeve on that calf, so yes, it may already have been a lingering issue.
