The contract details on Daniel Jones:The Giants will get out of the remaining $78M owed to Jones over 2025-26 when he gets cut after this season. It doesn't come without any penalty. They will have a $22.2M dead cap hit next year. That's on money already paid out though. Keeping Jones on the bench protects them from having to potentially pay a $23M injury guarantee if he got hurt down the stretch and couldn't pass a physical in March.

Since the off-season, the Jets’ front office has undergone significant changes. Assistant GM Rex Hogan departed the organization, director of player personnel Chad Alexander joined the Chargers, and today Joe Douglas was fired. This follows the Oct. 8th firing of head coach Robert Saleh.
