MSG has just seemed electric in every Knicks home game in the playoffs.

If the Wolves go on to win the title this year or next, does Gobert get into the HOF as a Four-Time DPOY/Champion? Does he get in even if they don’t win? He’s been the #2 bedrock of playoff teams his entire career, able to transform most of his teams into very good defensive squads, regardless of talent around him.

Interesting case for a defensive specialist.

He's already a stone cold lock for the hall.

Ben Wallace is in, Mutombo is in, Howard is going to end up in there... Gobert will be too.

Only reason I can fathom he wouldn't get in is that he seems roundly disliked around the league, but I doubt it will have any impact on the vote.

Brunson is always playing the right way, never forcing it to try heroics too hard. His 50pts + 10 3s game against us was a perfect example. In contrast, we tried to force it to Allen and Book in several games in quest of breaking some of their records. He'd abuse our team single-handedly if matched in a PO series; Okogie and Saben Lee with time may be the only ones to slow him down a bit one-on-one, who but never would play. None of our big-3 can score with more authority comparable. He, SGA, Ant, and Irvine are about the best go-to scorers in the league now. Book if he could maintain the way of off. play displayed in the final game vs. MIN, may come close.
And the Brunson-Hart-Divincinzo core is much more effective than our "big"-3, man! Divi is much better 3pt shooter than Allen, particularly under pressure, not because of shooting technics but of heart and confidence. Allen's league-best shooting % came mainly on too many open chances due to loose regular-season defense and big-3 effect.

That was one of the most ballsy performances I have seen in a long time by Brunson.

What Indiana was doing offensively for the first 2/3 of that game was mesmerizing. It was peak SSOL type ball movement and everyone had a role.

Watching the OKC-Mavs game, when OKC switched to small lineup wanting to bank on their 3pt shooting, they failed. You cannot win in this league just banking on your own shooting, anymore. You need defense first.

Looking back, the Suns even had point guard De'Anthony Melton (#46) on their roster out of the 2018 draft.

Those trades the Mavs made for PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford still hurt. It may yet put Dallas over the hump.

Mavs have to score a lot in this series. And rebound well. Tim Hardaway Jr. had his best game in a very long time. I hope they can continue to get something out of him.

Yeah I still don't understand why we gave him away - and kept Okobo by the way.

Jones just hates young players.

Mavs are not winning this series. They got great play out of their "others" last night and still barely won.

He really does. He sees no value in developing guys that’s the biggest reason he has to go

I don’t know who wins the series, but your description of last night’s game is pretty inaccurate all around. They got great play out of ONE of their “others”, pretty much no play out of one of their superstars (Kyrie) and a normal game from Luka and won by 9 points, on the road… hardly “barely” winning.

Well we see things very differently.

PJ Washington had the best game he will have all series.

The Mavs shot 48% from 3 while OKC shot 33%.

That game was a fluke. OKC is clearly the better team and I would be shocked if they lose the series.
