Ant giving his teammates credit first. This guy is great.

There was talk two years ago about him being the best 2 guard, and better than Book. It’s concrete to me now.
Yeah… and it ain’t even close at this point. He can physically impose his will in a way Book can’t. Which isn’t a knock on Book. Ant’s just a freak out there.

lebron is used up - young lebron would've never settled for that weak 3 attempt

luka is shooka - too much physicality for his soft ass liking
they doubled doncic on almost every possession down the stretch. other LAL players did hit a lot of wide open shots, but missed a good look to end the game. really for me the big play was the inbound turnover for the lakers after doncic falling down bringing the ball up before that. it could have been a foul. Looked like more of a foul to me at first glance that the one LeBron made on Ant that got a clear overhead look.

I think they are tired of their shenanigans, as the rest of anyone who follows the nba, so they imposed their will given how the calls were being made.

Gobert is a goof most times but he got some guts going for the back of bums head. Bum took a swipe and connected on Randle, not a look or complaint.

I still recall Shawn Marion pocketing LeBron in the finals. as for doncic they had no intention of letting him have the ball one on one. they learned their lesson from last year. smart play.

gobert elbowed lebron in the back of the head - randle held lebron in place and dead legged him - and ant was literally pushing lebron coming up the court on two different possessions - nobody came to lebrons aid nor could they - they physically shut lebron down alpha male pounding on the chest style

I had the sound down did the announcers point out the clock on the inbounds play where Minnesota stole it? The one right after Luka fell down with the ball not a foul not a travel and called timeout? If you noticed Ant was asking the ref to be sure because there was 17 on the shot clock which meant 1 second for the Lakers to get across and I'm pretty sure that's why LeBron threw that dangerous pass he knew it had to go across the halfcourt.

yeah that's right about the clock. it could have been a travel, probably should have been called a foul or a travel. the announcer mentioned that it was lucky to not be called a foul and the wolves were in the penalty so that would have been a big call.

You mean Richard Jefferson lol. Of course he’s going to say foul for Luka. Then he said the wolves were lucky to not get a foul called against them.

Even the Bum foul on Ant, all the announcers were rooting for Lakers ball. Until they showed the top view replay.

I'm just saying that the Minnesota player was being hyper aggressive and it could have been called. we've seen it be called many times before. I think the same play was called a foul earlier in the game when doncic fell. I agree about the LeBron foul. it looked like a foul as well and they didn't acknowledge it until the overhead. that's a good assessment.

I feel for Detroit but they've allowed 15+ point 4th quarter comebacks in 2 of their 3 losses, including this one. They aren't ready to compete and this will be a good learning experience to build on.

I didn't think it was a foul but yeah they certainly could have called one.
