To say this should be an interesting show would be an under statement.

Yeah as unfortunately due to Whitney Houston's untimely death, it will be about focusing on her as well. RIP!

Bonnie Raitt can sing!
Bruno was good. I liked the Guetta Chris Brown performance.
Adele was good. As always.
Nikki Minaj was horrible. And i like her stuff.

Adele isn't an artist I would normally listen to (the other big winner, Foo Fighters, are more my style). That being said, that girl is a genius and super talented. That album wasn't just the best of the year, it could have been one of the best in the last decade. I am glad she came through her surgery and can still sing because I expect more great things from her.

I liked most the show, but some of those acts were just so weird/terrible. Loved Dave Grohl's speech about music coming from the heart, not a computer. Learning to sing and play an instrument were still the most important things. He got a standing ovation from lots of artists, though I did notice that a few pop/R&Ber's kept their seats at this comment.

Glenn Campbell tribute was great! Watching Paul McCartney and his lady singing along and dancing in the isles to Glenn singing rhinestone cowboy was absolutely priceless. Great stuff!

And then later following up Chris Bronw's performance with Deadmau5, or however that crap is spelled.

That Bruno Mars performance was great.

I also really enjoyed the Keys/Raitt duet.

Hah I read that as Keys/RATT at first and thought what a weird combo and why RATT.

My little brother is a DJ he just loves Deadmau5 and that Skrilla guy I can't stand either.

He makes fun of other types of music and I think it's just a generational thing.

The show started off great with Springsteen and Bruno Mars (I thought his was the best performance of the night). It kind of lost steam with the Chris Brown and Nikki Manaj portions. The Beach Boys portion felt off. But the Campbell tribute and the 2nd McCartney performance were really good. Love Adele's performance but so did everyone. Solid show overall.

Dave Grohl's acceptance speech was perfect and totally stole the show, IMO. Got friends along the entire spectrum of music praising him today -- some of them who are becoming aware of Foo Fighters for the first time ever.

Loved his speech. What sucks was the producers deciding to play him off early with LMFAO.
