One more angle now that we are at it, Kliff's agent made Kliff an NFL head coach. Kliff paying back by hyping Murray who has same agent.

Murray didn't switch to football the day after KK was hired as some have claimed. It was 6 days later. I still believe we are Keeping Rosen & trying to trade back. Kiem has been trying to drum up the value of the #1 pick.

You used the term. (Read your posts)

And, yes, I am, without apology.

Lucky guess. We can leave this at agreeing to disagree...but you had an opinion... I had an opinion...and he said my opinion was untrue. Of course I have no evidence. Duh. Its my opinion..which is why I asked what HIS evidence was, tongue in cheek. Dang.

Do not disregard this angle. It benefits all said parties to drive up Murrays stock.

A new low for the front office if indeed he’s the pick. That’s saying something

If they draft Murray because of Kliff and Murray doesn’t work out, Kliff will be known as one of the biggest buffoons in the history of the league. I am now OK with Kliff drafting him because it will mean that he believes in the pick so much that he is willing to be mocked for the rest of his life

This whole marriage between KK and Murray has me somewhat concerned. If Murray ends up being the choice at #1 are they going to try and run a college offense in the NFL? The offense Murray QBed in was fairly simplistic. This could end up being a spectacular failure. At this point Murray is at best a one and sometimes two read QB and NFL defenses are much more complicated than anything he has seen in college especially in the Big 12. They don't play much defense in the Big 12 and I highly doubt anything near what even the worse NFL defense runs.

I am now concerned to the point that I will not be disappointed if the Cardinals draft Murray because someone must be a genius. If Kliff has sold Bidwill so hard on Murray that Bidwill is willing to take the entire franchise down for a college coach with a losing record, there must be a reason for it. Bidwill would be risking his entire reputation. It would be a historical disaster

I have the same feeling, I think Michael is about to go complete cray cray on this one. By being crazy, I mean all logic says keep Rosen but most genius moves will seem nuts in relation to the status quo. Maybe the NFL really is just a much more simplified league now, hell they get their players from college and players no longer know how to run routes or hold blocks. The league has done everything to strap a defense. Ten years ago the thought of drafting Murray would be pure lunacy but now, who freaking knows. This is either going to make the sport history books as the NFL version of the Titanic or the Wright brothers achieving flight

Michael B hasn’t let us down yet. His first big mistake was the hiring of Wilks. But he showed intestinal fortitude by firing McCoy and then Wilks and wrote the checks and he paid heavily. If he doubles down on the gambling, I will go with it. But Kliff will be toast if it doesn’t work out. A historical pariah

Hasn't 95% of our history been a historic failure? What do we have to lose?.. alot of you guys have been fans longer than I, but I'm ready to throw poo on the wall and see if it sticks.. for the sake of at least saying we went down swinging.. unlike we have in the past. Jmo

I see mrchipkelly on reddit saying its Kyler. Damn!!!
This day and age there is no such thing as keeping a secret... Even the browns had a schedule leak, supposedly, showing Browns @cards on Thanksgiving. Of course this could all just be fake news... But crazy nonetheless. Regardless of who you want as QB, you can't deny the excitement Murray would bring to the NFL...imo

That's why they hired Tom Clements.

Throwing poo is not even the semblance of a plan.

Don't despair TJ. I believe Murray is going to be great for the Cardinals, and he's going to bring a similar energy to ARZ that Mayfield brought to CLE.

It's going to be super fun.

If we draft Murray, and I have come to the conclusion we are no matter how much I want to stick with Rosen, I do know he has the tools to be a good pro passer in a few years, way more than Lamar Jackson. Mahomes did not have many tight window passes during his college tenure, though Mayfield showed that to me... I have no choice but to put faith in the Cardinal front office and will remain optimistic because I am a Cardinal fan :newcards:

Hey, I know you have the #1 pick and can take anyone in the draft you want but I can land you X player - you dont see why that is a silly statement? You think they couldnt take murray if KK wasnt here? come on man, we have the #1 pick and can get whoever the hell we want regardless.
He had t committed to football yet. The premise is that KK, with his relationship and common agent, could ensure Murray committed to football, aka be available to the cardinals. You don’t see why your questioning his statement is silly? Come on man the cards could take anyone they want at #1 but this kid had an out that few do and hasn’t yet committed to football.

You suggested it, and the onus is on you to offer supporting evidence.
Not really. Not when someone counters equally strongly that it wasn’t. Then both have made definitive statements and the one who wins is usually the one who can provide evidence.

He said it wasn't true. I asked for evidence. I never claimed anything as true or untrue. Just that all this is all hypothetical/opinions. Not factual. This isn't hard.
Great point. Dscher never made any claim other than speculation. TJ made a claim. It’s in TJ to prove his claim.

So? he is supposed to have some insider info or just taking some bits and rumors and making himself look smart by guessing right?
I guess we don’t know. But I suppose if TJ can say who confirmed it here with “read between the lines” allusion to having insiders and this guy does the same (but beat TJ to the punch with the KK hiring) whose to say which has better info?

No problem. Not getting on you. Thanks for the info.I have a hard time believing much of whats being said during the last few weeks before the draft.misinformation time.
Yeah this is 100% reasonable. It’s why I chuckle at some of the arguments about little nuggets that come out. It’s a liars game right now. Don’t believe anything.

I would guess that we will hear many "insider' info takes in the next 12-13 days all the way right up to the actual pick.
