It was also very evident how much this team rely's on PP. He really shut down Green very much and it was the difference, besides Palmer turning on the switch in the 3rd qtr.

Cinncy almost stole this game on their last drive without him in there.

Amazing how far PP has come. He got by on a lot of hype early in his career, but would get shown up by freaking Crabtree of all people.

This year, he is light out. How many yards has he allowed on the season thus far, 250? All while covering some pretty talented receivers.

I think we can get by without him for the next two games against SF and the Rams, but definitely will need him beyond that.

by and large the nation really has no interest in seeing the Cardinals succeed.
They are just that team from Arizona.

This is definitely an exciting team to watch play

We have an explosive offense which makes big plays. CP and the core of WR's along with CJ, AE and DJ is making it work.

D is hanging in there and PP has been huge for us so far

I agree! When Peterson left the game with an injury it was clear that this defense wasn't the same.

This offense is awesome to watch. Just stop with the turnovers. Just think how this games would have played out if they only turned over half of what they did per game. Really, its amazing they still win with the amount of turnovers they have had the last few games.

Compared to Sherman he is humble, sure. I wouldn't quite say he is humble. He wouldn't have gotten into that tiff with Sherman if he were as humble as you are saying.

We got Palmer AND a 7th for that 6th rounder. There was also a extra conditional pick in 2014 IF Palmer played in more than 13 games in 2013 and he did. Oakland immediately trade the pick to Houston, who used it to take David Quessenberry, while Oakland took Shelby Harris and Mychal Rivera with their picks both of whom are still on their roster. We took D.C. Jefferson who was let go because of an arrest and sadly Quessenberry was diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 23.

Watching NFL Network right now, they were saying we're the only team in the NFL ranked in the top 3 on both offense and defense. Love our team, but I'm biased obviously, so it's nice to be hearing and reading all the love.

That being said, if we could tighten up the turnovers we'd be unstoppable. On all of those turnovers, if Palmer just takes a sack or CJ only gains a yard instead of fumbling, and we punt, that then forces their offense to move all the way down the field repeatedly and against our D I'll take those odds, even with our weakness in the front 7.

The fact that this team has the #1 offense and the #3 defense in the NFL is mind blowing. We are all too close to this team sometimes you have to step back and realize; wow, this is a really, really good football team.

Earlier tonight on ESPN (i think; or was it NFL Network?) there were a couple of incredible discussions. Sorry, don't remember which analysts were involved. The first was regarding which team was best in the NFC. One took the position that the Panthers were the best, while the other decried their lack of offensive firepower (despite their outburst in the most recent game!) and said that despite their early losses, the Cardinals were best in the NFC because of their balance.

Then (still not sure i wasn't hallucinating!) there was another discussion of which team is the best in the NFL, or has the best chance of winning it all. There was close to a CONSENSUS among the 3 people involved that with the Patriots' injuries, the Cardinals could be the team! Seems like bizarro world.

Means nothing at this point, but after what we've all endured as Cardinals fans, it sure is nice to bask in the spotlight!
