No use beating ourselves up over this loss. The Cardinals did not score an offensive touchdown today while their opponent scored "2" of them. When that happens in an NFL game you will lose almost every time.
Last week the Cardinals only scored 1 offensive touchdown. That makes a whole "1" touchdown they have scored in 2 NFL games vs. what was said to be the "easy" part of our schedule.
It doesn't matter who coaches this team as we are destined to start every season at 0-3 or 1-4 and be out of realistic contention by week 5.

Very dissappointed but not surprised.

I really doubt that the rams were the better team. Even with them having near or over 100 yards rushing and horrible penalties.. we still had a chance to win.

I am sure that it is still Josh McCown's fault. Everyone was quick to blame him for our inept offense. I guess it doesnt matter who Qb's this team.

Unlike last year, Quarterback is not one of our major problems.

I dont know we still are scoring any points. The same as last year. The D is still keeping us in the game.

Last year it wasn't a case of Lee dropping a TD pass, or Johnson playing the way he did. It ws the QB not getting them the ball.

Everyone knows we are still with the Niners as the worst teams in the NFL. Does that mean we still can't beat teams when we face them? No. We have the talent to succeed. But as far as execution and doing the small things needed to win, and avoiding the mistakes that cost you games, we are still the same old Cardinals. It needs to change. Now.

The Rams were the better team. I have a hard time believing the Rams could have screwed up the last two drives like the Cardinals did yesterday. Very Cubesque. Was Steve Bartman in the building?

The best team always wins. That's what they have points for.

Right. Warner should have caught that TD for Charles Lee. We need McCown and his 90 passing yards to win.

If you look at that play Lee was covered pretty well. The pass was thrown behind him, maybe because that was the only place to throw it. But IMHO it was a tough catch to make in traffic. He had his hands on it so I am sure he would tell you he has to make it.

He had Femi wide open in the flat with no defender within 6-7 yards and a very good shot at scoring on that play.

The Lee pass was well placed and there is no excuse for not pulling it in. The ball was where it needed to be and Lee simply did not catch the pass.

I chose this misery when I became a fan some 25 years ago. Probably back then was the only time the Cardinals would come out of September at around .500 rather then the 0-6 they are combined over the Denny Green era.
The only thing keeping my sanity is the Cardinals moving into a real NFL stadium next year and will finally have a true home field advantage- something they really never had in Tempe other then the 1st season (1988) and a few select games of importance along the way. Im tired of seeing the half empty SDS that has become all too common year in and year out.
The other reason for hope is a good nucleus of young players and probably another Top 5 draft pick in 2006. I might be reaching here but the Cardinals could have a great shot at landing USC QB Matt Lienart if they keep losing- not that I want to see that but having a young franchise QB that could grow with this team (like we see Eli Manning doing in NYG) instead of stop gap guys from year to year. One thing is for sure- if we are able to draft Matt Lienart it wont be Dennis Green doing the draft.

Go Cards/ America!
