...at Nebraska is off to a rousing start. The Cornhuskers hadn't lost a non-conference game in Lincoln since 1991. It took Callahan one game to break the streak by losing to Southern Miss 21-17. I think Nebraska's AD is busy updating his resume.

Southern Miss is a good program - one of the best non-BCS programs, in fact.

But he is completely overhauling the Husker offense and bringing it into modern times. That is going to take time and different players to make it work. Actually, IMO this kind of loss was needed. Further knocks the Huskers off their high horse and down the line will fire them up to play harder. JTHO of a non Husker fan.
