i noticed that the bulls didnt make any moves. do you think that some of these moves have strengthened teams enought to knock chicago out of the playoffs? or are did they just lock the bulls into the playoffs. right now i doubt we would be able to draft some one that is going help our needs. although you never know.

the sixers may overtake them. and i wouldn't be completely surprised to see the nets regroup and overtake the bulls as well. i think the bulls will finish w/ the 8th playoff spot. no way they stay this hot.

Actually the Bulls are "hot" since 30 games. That has nothing to do with being hot. They are simply that good.

I don't see any teams with better records than the Bulls dropping back barring any injuries. I do think 5 teams have a chance at catching the Bulls: Denver, Indiana, Minnesota, Philly, LA Lakers. Possibly Boston. That would move us up a few notches in the draft, I just think Chicago's youth may hurt them down the stretch.

yeah, i think i just like to convince myself they're not that good. we made a calculated gamble that failed in this trade. hopefully the increased talent level in the east via the trade deadline can allow one or two other teams to step though.

the bulls are in the 6th spot in the east right now. orlando and indiana 2 games behind them and the 76's 4 games behind them. the next 5 games for chicago are houston, @san antonio, @milwaukee, milwaukee and @portland. i think they will win 1 maybe 2 of these. i think that it is very likely that chicago may drop out of the playoff picture shortly. they have 2 games agianst seattle, 3 games agianst the pacers, 1 against the heat and 2 against the pistons.

The Eastern conference still isn't nearly as strong as the Western Conference, but it's nice to see that they are looking a little bit stronger. I've enjoyed watching that Chicago team a few times recently. Even though I'm not the biggest Scott Skiles fan I do like the way that team is playing. Of course as I've said before they should be playing that well. Their entire roster is made up of lottery picks.

houston is kicking the crap out of the bulls so maybe this is a sign of things to come.

I really don't think it was a failed gamble.

Essentially we traded the #7 for a #15ish and the ability to sign Q.

If we get a lottery pick instead then it was a slam dunk, but I am happy either way.

The tight cap fit meant that signing a first round pick meant they could not get Q. They could have taken a Euro and left him in Europe, but I'm not sure there was anyone available who would be better than who will be available in the middle of the first round.

I am still disappointed the Suns did not get Okafor or Howard. Oh well.

There was definitely no Euro worth taking at #7 that would have stayed overseas
