The Cardinals are my sickness

My problem isn't my obsession with the Cardinals, nor my marriage...

just that the two don't go together well!

Great post! I can totally relate! The thing about the Cardinals is that we as fans can easily become obsessed with how (in the world) to fix this forlorn franchise...we're like mice in a maze...and thus far there's been no way out...and each year brings new hope...which is why 0-3, 2-5 starts year after year are so demoralizing.

I think we need a support group...group therapy for all...and sessions will end with a group hug...call it Cards-A-Non!

Hi..my name is Walter ("Hi Walter")...yes, I've been spending over two hours a day thinking about the Cardinals...yes, when I wake up the morning, I reach for my Cardinals mug...yes, when weekends come my girlfriend has to suffer her way through endless football games...that is if I stay at home...sometimes I go to a sports bar by myself...yes, by myself...and I can be found drawing Cardinal helmets on the back of cocktail napkins...yes, I admit, I am a Cardinal-holic..."

My name is Rob and I'm a cardinalholic too. My affliction started years ago as a young boy. I can remember going on deer hunts with my dad and brother, we'd leave the woods for a few hours, go back to the truck and watch the game on a small black and white t.v. that was powered by my dad's truck battery.

Of course they were the St. Louis Cardinals then. I now live in Phoenix if that's any indicator of how strong my addiction is...

Hi my name is Angel and I first realized that I was a Cardinal-holic when getting ready for a company (dressy casual) bar-b-que and I had nothing casual to wear that did not bear the logo. Many people don't understand my obession but it is often overlooked because after all I'm just a girl and I don't know any better.

LOL! I'm just a girl and don't know any better either ... or so they think. Living in Jersey just adds to it. I really just like their helmets ... and cardinals in general ... and the color red, too. Yet I am seriously considering getting season tickets this year just so I can assure myself a seat in the new stadium on opening day.
