Why? The Cardinals need an O-lineman in this draft. This guy can play OG and OT and is has pretty good value for a 2nd round pick. I don't know how they could trade up for him, but if he can drop down low enough, maybe the Cards can pull the trigger and get a versatile Lineman!

What do you think of Glenn?

Eh, if the Cards move up into the second I'd like to see them do it for Courtney Upshaw.

I would be thrilled if we moved up to grab Glenn. I think we would be pretty solid with Glenn and Floyd added to this team.

I think getting Glenn would be a pretty big pick up for this team, but I also have faith in what their doing so far. If they feel like either Upshaw or Glenn are too good of prospects and that they need to go get one or the other while their still on the board, go do it. They've definitely shown a history of moving up in the past couple drafts so the chance of this happening is better than slim to none.

Mike Adams could be a possibility when we pick. He could slide that far. Johnathan martin is there too. Theres some sort of a chance glenn, martin, or adams falls to the third

Trading up for Glenn/Upshaw sounds appealing, but I agree with the post above. O-linemen didn't come off the board as quickly as some thought, and unless there is a monster run on them in round 2, there's a good chance a solid O-linemen will be available for us in Rd 3. If we trade up it would probably cost us our 3rd round pick and next year's 2nd (if not more)... depending on how next season goes, will we feel any differently about how important having a second round pick would be next year?

I'm just glad we didn't reach for him with our 1st. If he falls far enough and we don't have to give up too much, then yeah, pick him up

There will be a monster run. Bank on it.

I think there will be a big run as well. But only four OL went in the first round. Here is a list of offensive linemen that I think would provide value at our third round pick:

Cordy Glenn
Jonathan Martin
Bobby Massie
Mike Adams
Mitchell Schwartz
Zerbie Sanders
Jeff Allen
Donald Stephenson
Amini Silatolu
Peter Konz
Kelechi Osemele
Brandon Brooks
Brandon Washington
Sergio Kelemete

I'm sure the Cards don't have all of these guys ranked in their top 80, but I don't think any of these guys would be a huge reach at the #80 pick. If one of the top 4 or 5 guys on that list slides a bit and you can move up by maybe giving up a #3 and #4 or #5 this year or something, I wouldn't have any issue with that. But several of these guys will definitely be available and I don't think you need mortgage future picks to move a huge move early in the next round.

I would love to grab Upshaw, but the this team absolutely must draft some O-linemen before the 5th round. We can't afford to trade away picks for a defensive player. I think taking a WR in the first round locks us into OL in the third, if not the third and fourth.

Upshaw would be a great pickup. But seriously, if they don't get glenn I hope they address the O-line need sometime in round 3/4. Mike Adams, Martin, Massie, all would be great value picks (steals, maybe) in the 3rd round.

I think the Cards may try and trade up late into round 2 but really don't have the ammo to move to the top of round 2.

Mike Adams may slide to 80. But do you really want a soft, weak, pot smoking, lazy, albeit talented player to be our selection at 80?

Glenn is overrated and gone. I really don't see this board's fascination with him.

Well, he was projected in the first round and he's still on the board...so at this point I don't think he could be considered overrated. Also, I don think the board overall is "fascinated" with him--most really cringed at the thought of him as the possible pick at 13.

I guess it depends on how you evaluate him. If he has Marcus McNiel potential I would trade this years 3rd + next year a conditional 3rd to be increased to a 2nd based on the % of offensive play he plays.

Then grab:

4 - Omar Bolden - CB
5 - Ryan Davis - DE/OLB
6 - Brandon Mosely - OT
6 - Matt Conrath - DT/DE
7 - BPA

That's a pretty good draft - 2 starters and 4 potential contributors.

I have Glenn listed #2 behind Upshaw on my reset #33 - #80 board.

Both will be long gone by the time we get to #80.

We get into Kelemete territory around #60 on my Board. Hopefully one or 2 good guys above there will slip thru the cracks to us. (We don't have much ammo to trade up).
