It was a much bigger deal last year. Most of line has changed. the plays have changed quite a bit. The defense has changed in scheme. If Whiz preps for the 06 or 07 steelers, there will be lots of surprised waiting for him.

The other thing is, we know Whiz and Grimm in depth, which means the players know how the will scheme.

But again, players--- and coaches change.

Well it might also be true that we have changed and improved.

Do you really think Wiz is watching old tape ?

Pitt is the one team that I really can't see AZ beating. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if they did. .
You can't see AZ beating Pitt but it won't surprise you if we did????

I rarely see a self contradiction as obvious as this one...

Oh, and by the way, we DID beat them last year...

One thing I found surprising is the Cardinals are actually averaging more yards per game rushing than the Steelers in the playoffs...never would have guessed that.

One thing I've noticed about the Steelers this year is that Ben takes an awful lot of hits. If this keeps up he won't be around too many seasons in the future. The offensive line needs to protect him more.

I'm not trying to say the Cards will be the team to end his career, I am saying his longevity is endangered with all the hits he takes during the playing season.

Well sure. As always, it's about how well coaches adapt, inside knowledge or no.

I'm betting on Whisenhunt. No offense to Tomlin and his staff, who are very good at what they do, but Whisenhunt's just been amazing.
