The Crazy Nasty Honey Badger!

It had nothing to do with TM. It was a viral internet meme for a while, and was SOOO big that LSU fans started calling TM the Honey Badger on their boards, dropping the "doesn't give a ****" and "takes what he wants" quotes as well. Then broadcast announcers dropped "he takes what he wants" in connection to him as the Honey Badger.

Nobody posted it earlier probably because those who had seen it all assumed everyone knew that was the source of the nickname.

But it's still super funny.

Understood. But again, I don't pay any attention to college ball so I have no clue what LSU fans did or what announcers did. As far as the meme, I'm 43 and apologize for not keeping up on meme culture. I'm so busy worrying about my wife and the kids and my job that I haven't quite found the time to go searching for it. Guess I'm ignorant.

I do agree with you though that nobody posted it earlier because it was so widely known that nobody found it necessary. Somebody needs to look out for the non-meme finding dudes like me. I'm glad it was posted. I had a bad day today and it gave me my only laugh of the whole day. Well worth it.

Yeah Darkside! This and so this. I'm 42 and busy with screaming wife and 2 kids and coaching youth tackle football and managing youth fall baseball team. I feel like I'm up with most internet memes, but never got the chance to research the origin of the HB nickname. Someone has to look out for us old f#cks. Thanks to whomever posted the youtube video. 65 million and growing!

Sadly, it's entirely possible Honey Badger will be the primary reason to even watch this team by week 7. Dang.

First time I seen it as well. I thought I was up on all the memes but apparently not. I wish I was 42 again as well "O".
