Actually, it expires when the championship is returned to Pottsville. Give that $#!@ back damn it!!!

Actually the curse ran for one hundred years on the Red Sox then they broke out of it.

However if we have any Cubs aspect to this since the franchise came from there then all bets are off until and unless hell becomes frosty.

Correction we're back into uncharted territory as that one was only 86 years long we're still going strong at a brisk 90.

Cardinals owner Chris O'Brien was later offered- but refused to accept- the Championship title for his team. At the owners' meeting after the end of the season, he argued that his team did not deserve to take the title over a team which had beaten them fairly.[5] It appears that his reasons for scheduling the Milwaukee and Hammond games had been not to take the title, but rather to convince the Chicago Bears to play his team again – the Bears, with Red Grange in their roster, were a very lucrative draw.[3] The NFL said it would revisit the issue later, but never did. It was only after the Bidwill family purchased the team in 1933 that the Cardinals began claiming the championship title.[4]

Hmm interesting.

The Cardinals NFL franchise is allegedly suffering a curse[32] by the citizens of Pottsville, Pennsylvania for undeservedly claiming the 1925 NFL championship from the Pottsville Maroons who were stripped of their title by the NFL in one of the greatest controversies in sports history. The curse will supposedly only be lifted when the championship is returned to Pottsville and to the correct shade of red team. The Cardinals team holds the NFL record for the longest championship drought. Arizona also lost Super Bowl XLIII to another Pennsylvania team: the Pittsburgh Steelers (whose founder Art Rooney supported Pottsville's claim to the title). The franchise also leads the NFL in the total number of losses (716 through the 2013 season according to Pro Football Reference).

People laugh and it's a joke but if you truly follow this team and don't get a cursed vibe off it then you just aren't paying attention.

I will never forget Larry Fitzgerald and his No, no, no face. That face is the face of someone who no matter what super human effort is expended just can't quite escape the curse.

I know it sounds crazy but you explain 9-1 cruising through a season then boom the wheels just fall off and your QB goes down nearly untouched just AFTER signing a huge extension???
