From today's Detroit News:

It was only fitting that Matt Leinart won his first NFL game against the Lions.
After all, the Lions had a chance to draft Leinart, a former USC star quarterback, with the 10th overall pick in the last NFL draft. Instead, they opted for linebacker Ernie Sims.


It’s a day the Lions might regret for years to come….
