back to more important things. Who would leak Bud and Booker's private conversation?

Bud? no way
Booker. way.

"this is an obvious attempt by Devin Booker and his agent to fight the narrative that he's not a leader. People have been saying that, so this is an attempt to throw his own coach under the bus to advance his career" - A.M. Hoops

the choice of words for Book's reaction "shocked." Not anything resembling an emotion like mad or upset. "Shocked" is strategically used to preserve his reputation as a team/company man. We know that Booker's style is to play it safe as the phx suns poster boy. After all when Sarver was finally on the hot-seat, Booker looked out for himself and said nothing about the mistreatment of other Suns players and employees.

now, THAT point, and the following is pure speculation...

what about that mysterious dysfunction that keeps reappearing in the Suns locker room for the past decade (except for 1.7 years of bliss under CP3 and Monty's spirited leadership). Could it be the ego of the one player who was untouchable? Who passive-aggressively has tried to steer his own career down a superstar path, but never really had the talent or bbiq to match his ego and aspirations?

with his reputation ever protected by his fan-base and the marketing machine of the Suns org?

In the post you attempt to clear up your obvious and easy to check 'mistake' you make yet another factually incorrect statistical claim about the exact same stat.

Well done.
complain to ABC. And last week, when I checked, his 3pt shooting was 2nd worst. So if you want to challenge stats, do so in a timely manner. (today he's 0.2% above the worst 3pt shooting of his career)

anyway, you were not contesting the 3pt stats. You accused me of lying about his stats for last second chucks at the end of quarters -- which there are NO stats for and was based on my observation. Try to stay relevant.

sorry for your confusion, but you should have made an honest effort and left the page.

That Hoop reply was contesting me noting what the ABC announcer last week said -- that Booker was having his worst 3pt shooting percentage of his career. His current stats show him having the 2nd worst of his career.

now, is there anything more important you'd like to contest? Like his poor clutch shooting stats or poor defensive rating?

It was wrong when you posted it, you repeated your wrong when you said "currently" in your very last post.

You're bad at this.

Also, I just assume you're talking out your ass about whatever someone supposedly said on ABC anyway, so it doesn't matter.

oops. you got me. i said "currently" without checking. This isn't a job. And ABC wasn't lying either. We're talking fractions of a % difference from day to day. The point is, his 3pt shooting is not good. In FACT, Devin Booker is CURRENTLY 237th in the NBA in 3pt shooting %.
Am i getting better at this? or are you getting worse the longer you push this conversation?

So stop trolling my Booker Non-Appreciation thread or I'll ask the Mod to escort you out of the room.

if you like, just start a 1Tinsoldier Non-Appreciation thread and you can commiserate with at least 3 or 4 other posters.

Keep complaining how your lies are called out while you refuse to correct them. You've lost the benefit of doubt whether you're mistaken or not, that's what makes it clear you're lying versus mistaken. It's happened multiple times, you say something and the second anyone looks at the numbers it becomes obvious that your version of events doesn't align with reality.

Go back to having conversations with yourself but maybe keep those conversations in your head next time if you don't want to be challenged.

As i said, when a player is a consistently weak 3pt shooter it changes by fractions every day. We aren't playing Jeopardy or The Price Is Right. I was not even "mistaken" the first time and, please forgive Mr Hoop Head but I neglected to recheck the 2nd time. That does not make me a liar it makes you a troll who doesn't belong in this thread.

The point is Booker is bad at key aspects of the game, is overvalued and paid, and you are too insecure to admit the flaws in your heroes so you try to silence me with bullying tactics. There's a lot of that going around.

tonight's game was a typical end result. The Wolves pulled ahead in the 4th. Durant tried to get a rally going. Booker gave a take foul out of frustration and disappeared instead of inspiring his teammates. Beal, who is on par with Booker's bbiq, did the same thing and the Wolve's humiliated us in our building.

but let's nitpick about the fractional differences in Booker's stinky 3pt shooting from day to day ;)

bk3000:
Many of you got mad when I told you all about nine months ago that Budenholzer would make no difference, that the problem was with the Suns personnel and not the coaching. I said you have three mid-range jump shooters as your main cogs, and that two of those guys, your superstars, sulk and chide their teammates when they don't get enough shots. The whole team chemistry is awful, both on the court and off. Good players such as Crowder, Ayton and Nurkic have been run off by the terrible attitudes and selfishness of the "stars." I am not saying Crowder, Ayton and Nurkic are great players, but they can help play roles with a good and team-oriented roster. This team is going nowhere with the players it has its core.

ignore the little clique here that never misses an opportunity to pile on a newbie when they have something critical to say

you have indeed said stuff that others dare not say for fear of getting "the treatment."
-- the superstars sulk and role-players have been run out of town by attitudes and selfishness
-- this team is going nowhere with the CORE players

indeed, instead of just playing sound TEAM ball at all times, i notice Booker's mood swings on the court. Sometimes he's taking too many shots and forcing things all game, and other times he's intentionally just focused on passing all game, passing up open shots, as if he's trying to prove something.

he's a player driven to achieve what he's not capable of. He's not happy. It shows on the court, as does his lack of connecting with teammates. I think they respect him, but not as a leader.

* that's why Bud had to have that talk with him
* that's why Booker threw Bud under the bus with his "shock" leak.
(and who knows how many of the many other coach's got bussed for not gelling with the Suns "franchise" player -- despite Booker always saying everything is fine)
* that, and the Suns hyping Book while trying to trade Durant, is why Durant is already gone
* and that's why every iteration of the Booker era/error will end in failure.
