Edge is still the better back and the reason can be summed up in one word. Vision.

It's the same reason why Emmitt back then was still the best back on our roster even though he was 53.

The breadtruck isn't bad, is a nice change of pace, and I'm not complaining.

But we still need a RBOF.

Sorry, Crimson, this is all incorrect. Edge is our weakest link on offense and if Hightower can demonstrate he can hold on to the roch, the sooner he takes over as the starter, the better. Hopefully by midseaon.

As far as RBOF, Hightower may be part of the solution. Then, we still need a burner Rb to compliment Hightower.

Edge is giving us all he's got left and for that I'm appreciative.

i know people are gonna kill me for saying this, but if AP was on this team, it would be the best offense in the league bar none (and probably one of the best all time).

I think we'll rue that pick forever unless the O-line really becomes monsters and Hightower develops into a serious stud. I like what I see of Hightower so far and maybe he could develop into that guy, but the run blocking still leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.

When Levi was getting his knee looked at all I could think of was AP.

I actually don't want this.... But if Denny was the coach, we would have had AP. He took Fitz when we really needed a Big Ben. He could make those decisions.

Who would be blocking at RT for Kurt and AP?

I hate to think what Grimm would have to work with if we didn't have Levi Brown.

Why? Levi Brown is not yet a dominant tackle. He may become one but he may also stay at his current level, which is average. It's over and done with and the subject has been beat to death, but those who think Levi and AP are even a debate as to who would have been a better pick need to get a dose of reality. You're talking about, probably, the best player in the league versus an average RT. The Cards are looking very good and that's the main point, but there really is no contest when it comes to who the better player is.

Yup! It was a need pick pure and simple. The good news is I hope we are largely beyond that now. Next draft, we have two or three ways we can go in the first three rounds, LB, RBOTF, CB depth, TE, DE.

AP was not a possibility the instant Leonard Davis was gone. That's one reason I didn't particularly like the way we handled the Davis scenario. We boxed ourselves in to have to draft for need with the first pick. Had Davis stayed, he or Gandy could be playing RT.

But, all that matters is winning. Right now, I like our 2-0 a lot better than Minny's 0-2.
