That’s a good point. If you looked Paul verses Dallas the same as Steve is looking at kd verses Boston you’d say no way you want that guy. It’s a bit too narrow of thinking.
I think Chris Paul's trade value was significantly impacted by that Dallas series.

As awful as he was in that series, we still had the two best back to back seasons in Suns history with CP3… after missing the playoffs for an entire decade.

That trade was a grand slam homerun, regardless of the Dallas disaster.

I'm not saying our trade for Chris Paul wasn't a grand slam. I'm saying his current trade value is significantly lower than it was prior to the Dallas series.

A lot of teams and fans would like to go on that two year ride.

Hopefully the Suns add center Olivier Sarr on a two way contract.

He is a PF combo guy who can give you minutes at center. Not really a center.
He's fine for small ball C, in spurts. Which is the majority of teams are rocking.
Unless they move Saric in a Durant trade I'd like him to stick around just for clogging the lane so Janis cant run it down our gabs all damn day.

If we win a title, i would not give a flying **** if we averaged 10 wins a season for the next decade

instead of a championship to hang my hat on,
settle for 10 years of winning seasons and some playoff wins
with a good group of guys?
been there, done that

and i'd be more than happy to do it again!

i'd much rather enjoy the ride
especially since i may only have 10 years left myself

it's not like a get a ring too
and even if i did they'd only bury me with it
and someone would dig me up for that ring
and leave my remains hanging out for buzzards, rats, and maggots
no sir, that's not gonna happen to me

i'm in for ten years of pleasurable 50+ winning nights per year
with Booker, Ayton, Bridges and Cam Johnson and company

Right. That’s what I am saying but nobody really considers him a true center. Versatility is good.

Well if we're smart we don't have to force Dario into a backup Center role. I like the idea of him at the very least being a backup stretch 4. With Cam J being a big 3 behind Mikal.

As the roster looks now we should be fine using him in that role.
He could physically roll at the 4 against teams without a big center, but why bother really we have a bunch of Centers.
And for 133 mil Ayton should be playing about 47 min a game lol

Dario can play some power forward but the problem is he is not going to be quick enough to do it on most nights because of match-ups.

His athleticism generally limits him to being a backup center.

It's stressful when the Suns are in the playoffs. I can be happy watching the summer Suns.
My wife has a love hate relationship with the Suns in the playoffs because of how I react at home dropping an F bomb now and then when things go south. She can see how it stresses me out.
