Really? Not sure why but I feel like we would be making out on this. KD and Bogdanovich seems like good pieces to get back. Maybe its cause I am not a fan of Payne, Shamet, Saric and Crowder.

It would be nice to get a young player like Toppin out of the trade.

He is a horrible rebounder considering he spends a lot of time at the 4 and their team defense takes a hit when he's in the game. As a 7th or 8th man, he's okay but he's an old 33 (18 years as a pro plus international play since he was in his middle teens), he assists at the same rate he turns the ball over and gives you nothing in the steals or blocks categories.

And while a TS% of .599 is good, it's not good enough to make up for everything else. Oh, and he's making 19.3 M this year. The best thing I can say about him is that he appears to be clutch (to the eye, haven't seen stats on that). I wouldn't mind having him on the roster, on the cheap, but, like I said, as an incentive to make a trade, I'm not at all enthused by his inclusion.

I'm not a fan of the trade as structured but in the hypothetical trade the Suns would probably add more veteran minimum contracts plus they have the MLE.

I'm kinda ambivalent about this whole thing. Last years team was an excellent team. Not sure what happened against Dallas but the age of the core means it has room to grow. I get that Durant has been a top three talent, but I am not sure about blowing everything up to get him.

It might be great but I hate to give all that up.

Well the incentive is KD, but we all know your thoughts there. This makes it sweeter, particularly as we don’t lose cam Johnson. To me it’s upgrading an enormous amount from bridges to KD, keeping relatively equal with crowder to bojan (get more offensively and give more defensively), so you’re paying with a Dario, Payne shamet and firsts for the enormous KD upgrade.
