Teams out of the playoffs yes. I was talking about teams still in it come the trade deadline. None of them are going to blow it up unless they have multiple stars on the roster. Having said that? KD doesn't sound like a guy that is going to let himself be dealt to a team that isn't a lock to contend after the trade.

Contending teams are unlikely to blow it up. There is no reason too.

Still there was a rumor the Suns almost traded Ayton for Sabonis last season.

The Suns reportedly never had what Brooklyn wanted so Mikal Bridges was never included in a trade offer.

Where do we go now.

Adding Clarkson would be fools gold. Guys on that level aren’t gonna put this team over the top
If Cam Johnson is going to start - and he is - we need a scoring 6th man, we don't currently have one.

That trade doesn't equate to blowing it up for either team.

Where's Flex at? Hopefully this ends up killing what little credibility he had. That'll be the most positive aspect of the off-season so far.
This is such a lame reaction.

All flex said was that KD wanted to be traded here - he did. His credibility has been vastly enhanced by this whole situation.

He has been sooooooooooo wrong this offseason. I mean he has gotten almost everything completely wrong including proposed illegal trades, not knowing the Nets were not interested in Ayton. It's a laundry list this offseason for that dude. He did say he was "retiring" when the Suns season starts right?

Bull@#$#. He said the Suns were in the right place and the right time to get him. He said the Suns had everything the Nets wanted. He said the Suns were still in a good position to get him. He suggested Ayton would be part of a trade even though the Nets had no interest in Ayton. He suggested an illegal trade was imminent. What a lame defense of someone who has gotten practically EVERYTHING wrong this offseason.

Flex said the Suns would add a superstar, he also said LeBron might be coming to Phoenix this off-season and said that had a higher probability than KD very early in the off-season, he said Ayton was a goner, he said Ayton would be dealt in a sign & trade, he said the Suns weren't likely to match the Indiana offer sheet, and he said a KD deal was imminent.

I can't believe you're still taking up for him but go ahead, do your thing.

Definition of fanboy. Seriously, there is a laundry list of all he got wrong this offseason. The ONLY thing he got right was KD was interested in a trade. Even him only wanting to come to Phoenix was pure speculation.

And the KD stuff was out there before he said a word. Everyone new KD and Book were friends and KD loves Scottsdale also. It was simply an educated guess on Flex's part and repeating it loudly so his fanboys could claim he said it first. There was never a time though where certain pieces were substantiated elsewhere like how the Suns were the only team he'd accept a deal to. From day 1 of his trade request it was known Phoenix was in it with Miami and at least another team or two. KD never said a thing publicly about the Suns and the Suns were never in the drivers seat.

The funny thing is, who knows that all of this is over? Guys that make trade requests are rarely around for the long term. What are the odds KD plays the next 4 in Brooklyn?

You people are hopeless. If he isn't Super Nostradamas and get every single detail correct about a fluid situation he's a fake.

You are doing the EXACT same thing when he manages to get something right. You ignore all the stuff he gets wrong and praise him as a great insider even when he still gets the majority of it wrong. You use confirmation bias to fill in the gaps or fall for the "fluid situation" or things change schtick. That's being so gullible.

An insider is only as good as his ENTIRE track record. You are hilarious.

This peace won’t last. Durant demanded Nash’s scalp and now is supposed to play for him. They’re going to fall on their faces out the gate and the trade demand will be back out in the open.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s in the preseason.

It may still happen. The Suns were reported to be Durant's first choice.

He didn’t say outright that the suns would add a superstar. He said we were in a position to do so, and there really is no disputing that.

He said the Suns were in a position to add a Superstar. What does that mean? Any team with tradeable assets in a position to potentially trade for anybody. Plus, he said the team has a "current" opportunity because they were in the right place at the right time. The rest he went on to claim on top of that is stated above. Let's face it. He turned a sardine into a big fish story and bombed with the majority of his Tweets this offseason.

I’m not going to get into it with you, but nothing about my post is false.

I’m not sure why Flex has this much power. He was right on basically once and then kinda right a handful of times. But he’s mostly wrong or simply posts vague things that are applicable whether it happens or not.

Did I say that? I didn't. However, you left out all the other stuff he said along with it which is an entirely different thing.
